The Stacks is probably one of the largest (consists of 7 buildings) and best known loft projects in Atlanta. Building was converted from a huge Cotton Mill factory and has a long history. A lot of industrial features have been preserved both on the interior and exterior of the building. You will see pieces of the original machinery outside of the buildings as well some inside in the hallways. Units are large and spacious and have ceiling heights ranging from 15 to 30 feet. There is a huge variation of floorplans in Stacks so it is not hard to find a space to match your needs. New kitchens and bathrooms were installed during conversion and overall finishes are nice. Complex has gym and large outdoor pool. One of the main pros for Stacks is that from architectural standpoint it is probably one of the best loft buildings in Atlanta (some would say true NY style lofts). The negative is that project will have 500 units… something we feel will have an impact on resale. Also when it comes to location it is very transitional, even so a lot of people love Cabbagetown area for its little shops and restaurants. Lower HOA dues and quick access to all Intown neighborhoods is definitely another plus.
