Castleberry Point Lofts
Just like with many other NEW construction projects in this section, we did like Castleberry Point in the past but did not like the price. Originally with pricing starting in low $200’s we just couldn’t justify spending that much money in this location. However, at this time developer has to do a lot of promotions and some of the deals are very attractive. Smaller units now start from $120’s, but if you can afford $150’s you can get a very well sized 1B loft with nice downtown views. Deals on 2 Bedroom units are even better! You can purchase two-story 2B/2B unit with (!) private rooftop deck for around $200k. HOA dues are extremely low and make this product even more affordable. On the top of that you can get some of the incentives provided by Developer, like paid closing cost or HOA dues. Castleberry Point is FHA approved and for qualifying buyers (income restrictions apply) there is also an option of getting additional grants from the city of Atlanta (usually 10%-20%) to be used as downpayment! Castleberry Point itself is a very interesting building and has great amenities like rooftop pool, gym and a lot of retail on the bottom of the building. Finishes are very attractive as well; all kitchens have modern cabinetry and bathrooms which fit very well with overall contemporary look of the units. Flooring differs from concrete on second level to hardwoods and carpet on the levels above. Building is located in Castleberry Hill – an artistic loft district with many art galleries, small shops and restaurants located close to Georgia Dome, Phillips arena and Centennial Olympic Park.
